It took me years to understand it is all about capturing memories. A sharp, well composed image, is all you need. One doesn’t need magazine cover images to remember ‘moments’ of life. Perhaps, I am aged (and aged well) to understand this secret. Or perhaps, I am just bad at photoshop 😛
Following is my 2nd photo that was selected in National Geographic “Your Shot”.
A long story short, One evening I was unhappy with my situation in photography. I know I am good at it (good enough) but I am terrible promoting it. So I deleted, many accounts, including my profile at the National Geographic website. After few days, I got to know that they selected the following photograph that I took in Nanjing, Jiangsu. So if you find this photo, there is no backlink (it’s broken, just like my dream of being a photographer of some credibility)
Same day, I decided to purchase Fujifilmx100v for streets and decided to give away my Nikon D700 with prime lens and golden ring lens to my sister.
