Day 41: Getting Used to It

Monday started off busy the moment I got up. I weighed myself and saw 88.9 kg! Hurray! Although I didn’t lose weight last week—I was still at 89 kg—it’s a small victory. I had breakfast, something I’ve recently started doing because of the side effects of my BP meds. My doctor advised against taking them on an empty stomach, as they can cause an upset stomach in some patients. Luckily, I’m fine. I’m not usually a breakfast person, but when I do eat, I prefer 2 cups of coffee, sausages, or cold cuts, along with bread and an omelet. That’s what I love to eat, but it’s not always what I choose.

Today wasn’t bad at all. I’m not sure why I’m not very hungry—maybe it’s because I’m eating more, which might explain why I haven’t lost weight. Or perhaps I’m just getting used to even the lower dose of Ozempic. Tomorrow, I’ll be injecting the next dose into my tummy, which is definitely getting a little less round.

I can see a future version of myself, looking good in clothes.
